Melbourne to Chicago in 30 Minutes, Possible?

I just arrived in Chicago, it took me 23 hours and 2 tanks of fuel to get there. It will take me 26 hours and 2 tanks to get back. It stunk getting there and it will stink more to get back. Being here is great though.

But there is this new technolgy that will probaly come out in the next 20 or 30 years called the scramjet. The scramjet works by channelling air through a funnel that starts wide and gets smaller then a gas gets let into the funnel and it explodes out of the back. But it has to be going very fast or the gas drips out of the back. A scramjet could potentially go 24,000 kmh! Chicago is 15,000 km from Melbourne, so someday we might get pretty close to a 30 minute trip. I can’t wait!
